  • Do not do this. We were told that the hotels they choose from are very nice. We refused the first place they had given us and were able to get it changed only to find out that other place was also a dump. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned and advising others to learn from my experience. We only ended up saving about $40.00 altogether. Not worth it.

When I talked to salesperson he acted I like was the one that did not understand. They stated a 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds and pullout couch. You already paid 99.00 for the "privilege" of giving them an hour and a half of Your time to listen to stuff you have already listened to half a dozen times even after you "own" a timeshare, Plus you have to pay an addditional fee of $34. tax. A true "gift" would be an additional $134. to you to listen to their spiel.

  • Please be warned and aware that this company and package is bogus. I purchased 3 days and 2 nights at the Sonesta Resort for 249.00. Upon arriving at the Welcome Center, I was told that my reservation at the Sonesta was changed and that I would now be staying at the Mariott. While disappointed, the Marriot is a 4 star hotel and comparable with the Sonesta so it wasnt a huge deal. My husband and I traveled to the Mariott to be told that we did not have a reservation and they had no rooms available. At this point, Vacation Play/Hilton Head Island Resorts scrabbled to find us a place to stay. They finally placed us in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo, at one of their properties, which was roach filled, had hair in the fridge and bathroom, and overall the most "dated" condo that I have seen in a long time. While you are presented with one package, please be aware, that your hotel selection can be changed (in my case downgraded) at any time. This was the worst experience that I have ever had while traveling. Vacation Play are not true to their marketing!

The rooms are dirty and smelled like mold, air conditioners leak and soak the rug. The pool area has wasps and roaches everywhere. Not to mention the hallways have live and dead roaches. If they offer this to you for free do not take it. I paid $300 and I am sorry now

  • Our vacation started out on a sour note because the sales staff did not share the information about the $150 deposit claiming that i should have read the email. Of course this is sent after we booked and should have been shared during the call. We arrive at the hotel, only to have roaches in our room. They were quick to change our room, but it did not seem as though they were surprised by the sightings. I doubt we will be returning.

  • Horrible customer service!! We purchased a package and booked only to find out a month later that the hotel is not available for the dates requested. We are then offered a different location that, upon review, is sub-par and undergoing renovations. Pictures show roaches crawling all over the place. We are told we can upgrade to a different hotel for an additional $150. Why would we do that when we already paid a price for our original package. The representatives will not work with you. They are extremely rude and will not allow you to talk to anyone else. We are extremely unhappy and now not able to take a family vacation this year that we had already set aside the time for and requested the time off from our jobs.

  • Beach House is great for college age to young adult. Location is awesome and atmosphere casual with good beach entertainment. Amenities in rooms could be improved—-showers, toilets, WiFi and work was being done in common areas to improve but at high traffic times.

  • I have t even taken this trip yet and I’m skeptical because this is the second time around trying to take advantage of this offer they called me with and like the first time in 2017 I was promised things over the phone that I didn’t get and now in 2019 they called trying to re-book us for the same trip we never took before because they wouldn’t give us a refund and now they called with the offer stating I could pay $50 then $17 to get the vacation back... then Cindy offered me a $60 visa and $40 gas rebate over the phone now I see my reservation online and it doesn’t mention that at all so I spoke w Cindy and she fast talked me off the phone and said she would call me back I haven’t heard from her yet!   • I called and spoke to Lisa regarding my $89 for my stay that was supposed to be refunded to me once my stay was completed. Lisa tells me the way I am refunded is with the presentation “Gifts” of $40 gas card and $60 visa gift card. That is not what was told to me at the time of booking. I was supposed to be refunded the stay amount $89 and receive the gifts as a thank you for traveling. Lisa was also rude and hung up on me. I insisted on speaking to someone else as she was talking to someone else in the background, but she said she was the only one I could speak to. UNACCEPTABLE!

  • The hotel was very large and accommodated the 4 of us very well. There eere 2 hiccups one where the shower leaked profusely ( that was corrected in a timely manner by a sweet man named Bill) and the garbage disposal leaked which we found out on our departure date The staff and employees wer super friendly, ver accommodating and answered all of our questions. For instance we were told we could not bring a dog by the booking company and yes we asked. Only to find out we could. We were told it would be possible to get a 2 bedroom suite only to find our you could only get a 2 queen beds suite hummmm. None of this was by the folks at the actual hotel. We also got shorted on our 50.00 rebate and found our when calling the jazz club that they are booked through September 2022 which is when the 50.00 dinner for two expirrs. So to sum it all uo yes, we would go back to 12 park lane in Hilton Head Island and no we would not do a palamera promotion vaction. Noq I must say jrff from the Caribbean was a fine salesman who didnt tell us we were eligible for a military discount. Thank you very much.
